Short description: People have a different version of you in their minds. You are a different to everyone because they know a version of you (a part of you)
Based on how you act and treat other people, inside their minds, you are what they saw. For example, to your mom, depending on you mom, you are the best thing she has ever had. To your father, you are his helper, his right hand, someone who he knows that he can rely on. But to others, your friends, you are to them what they see.
Lets talk about the friends, how you act around them is how they interpret you as. If what they see is matching or close to what they believe they themselves are, you've got a friendship. If they see one version of you that they dislike, even if you are actually matching, they will dislike you.
That leads to the points of a relationship. Usually, in a relationship, you are trying to be the best version of yourself, hiding the true version behind a mask. However, when that true version leaks, and if its not good, relationships will break up.
This is why you have to change your true version for the better. You can't really hide it forever; sooner or later, the true version will come out in one way or another.
WE ARE NOT WHAT WE THINK WE ARE
